The Forsyth Barr Investment Banking team invites you to attend a graduate presentation. This also gives you an opportunity to meet the team.

Forsyth Barr offers a full range of services from investment banking to portfolio management, sharebroking, research and fixed interest investments. They have 20 offices throughout the country, employ over 110 advisers and advise on client funds totalling six billion dollars.

Forsyth Barr’s Investment Banking team is made up of 13 highly skilled and experienced individuals located in Auckland and Wellington. They are seeking motivated and outstanding students to join our Investment Banking Division as Interns during the summer of 2018/2019.

As an investment banking intern, your role would primarily involve:

• Financial modelling and analysis of businesses including forecasting and valuations

• Preparation of presentations and documents for new and existing transactions

• Providing analytical support for various corporate finance projects

• Being exposed to a wide range of exciting, quality transactions

A unique advantage to an internship with Forsyth Barr is that you will spend four weeks in their award-winning Research division.

They encourage applications from candidates from all fields of study who can demonstrate a strong interest in commercial activity and financial markets.

Their ideal candidates would be in their penultimate year of study in 2018 and have the following qualities:

• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills

• Highly motivated with an ability to multi-task

• Excellent analytical, quantitative and business writing skills
