Now’s your chance! We are offering up to ten University of Auckland students* the opportunity to travel to Mumbai for a 6-week internship over January/February 2018, made possible by funding from the Prime Minister's Scholarship for Asia. Your flights, accommodation, programme fee and living costs will all be paid for with an $8500 maximum funding limit per student.

Why do an internship?

An internship will help you stand out to future employers! It will boost your employability by helping to develop your experience, confidence, network and understanding of the working world.

Overall, you will grow as a person, and you’ll be able to take your new skills and personal growth forward into your next role.

Why Mumbai?

Mumbai is an energetic, modern city with a population of more than 18 million. The city has a fascinating history: once called Bombay, it has been under Portuguese and British control and became independent with the rest of India in 1947. Mumbai is India’s financial and commercial hub, with strong industries in trade, development, finance, engineering, fisheries, healthcare, information technology, media and entertainment and more.
