What to do if you have missed your exam

What should I do if I have missed my exam?
We understand that circustances outside of your control can affect your ability to attend your exam.

Unfortunately, if you miss your exam, it is not possible to reschedule it to another time or day. Instead:
  • If you have missed your exam accidently, or because you have arrived too late, your final grade will be recorded as DNS (Did Not Sit).
  • If you have missed your exam due to illness, injury, or other exceptional or unforeseen difficulties (e.g. family illness or bereavement), you may be eligible to apply for an aegrotat or compassionate consideration, which can award you a final grade that reflects you coursework. For more information, please visit Aegrotat and compassionate consideration.

For more support or assistance, you can contact Te Papa Manaaki | Campus Care, or visit your nearest Student Hub.
