The Scholarship has been established in memory of Mrs Phyllis Paykel, foundation member and co-founder of the Maurice and Phyllis Paykel Trust. It is intended to assist students at a suitable stage of the medical programme, to undertake additional study and research in a selected area of medicine, including the related biological and social sciences.
