Cafés and shopping on campus

There are cafés onsite at all of the University's four main campuses.

Cafes at UoA

You'll find plenty of variety when it comes to food, with around nine cafés throughout the City Campus alone. The main City Campus cafeteria offers discount meals, and international food outlets cater for a range of tastes. There are plenty of places on campus where you can unwind and catch up with friends.

Strata, the postgraduate student area situated in the Student Commons Building, contains a café with balcony and a quiet study area for postgraduate students.

In early 2016, City Campus introduced variety of exciting new places to meet and eat on campus. Students and staff expressed a need for thriving places to grab lunch and relax with friends, so we opened Shaky Isles café in the Kate Edger Information Commons and Mexicali Fresh and Waffle Supreme kiosks in the Kate Edger Precinct to complement our wide array of food outlets.

A range of on-campus shops look after your essential requirements. There are banks, a bookshop and computer stores, postal services and travel agencies, a pharmacy, hairdresser and mini-mart. The weekly on-campus market is famous for its bargains.

If University of Auckland merchandise is what you're after, check out the exciting range offered at the Campus Store. Special discount prices apply for students and staff. Visit our shop in the AUSA Quad or shop online at Campus Store.
