Emergency numbers
In an emergency, dial the following UniSafe numbers:
- 966 from an internal phone for urgent security assistance.
- Extension 85000 for non-urgent security assistance.
- 0800 373 7550 from a cellphone.
- Or dial 111 for emergency services (remember to dial 1 first for external numbers).
Building and floor wardens
As part of our safety procedures, we have building and floor wardens who are trained in evacuation procedures and work with emergency services to ensure all staff leave the building safely.

First aid
A defibrillator is located at Reception behind the reception desk.
There are two designated first aid rooms within the Sir Owen G Glenn Building:
- Room 086 on Level 0
- Room 216 on Level 2
These rooms are fully equipped and available for use by staff or students suffering from illness or injury. Please contact one of the people below if you require access to one of these rooms.
Each department has its own first aid box containing basic first aid equipment. For more information on what is in your floor's first aid box and where it is located, please contact a First Aider listed for your floor below.

The First Aid Coordinator looks after the first aiders, first aid rooms, first aid kits, and is a member of the Business School Emergency Response Team.
