Academic Skills Support
The academic skills team supports the Business School by providing excellent support to help students understand the expectations and demands of university studies. The team complements the work of the lecturing staff by supporting students to develop core academic skills. They design, create and deliver key academic skills resources for the Learning Hub. The Academic Skills Team can help staff with:
- Resources – Learning Hub provides materials and resources to support academic skill development.
- Building specific learning objects – we can work with you to build online resources to embed in Business School courses.
- Student support - a range of workshops are offered throughout the semester aimed largely at first year undergraduate and postgraduate students. These are planned and delivered in consultation with academic staff.
