Project description and supervisor

  1. Copyright in the British Colonies with Jayden Houghton
  2. Incorporation by Reference: The OECD as a Lawmaker for Aotearoa New Zealand with Professor Michael Littlewood
  3. Groundless Threats and Unjustified Proceedings Under Intellectual Property Law with Associate Professor Rob Batty
  4. Empirical social research and review of case law on commercial joint venture with Professor Peter Devonshire
  5. The Supreme Court at 20: Land Law with Katherine Sanders


  1. Receive a $6,750 stipend for 400 hours research work over the summer (December to February)
  2. Polish your legal research and writing skills before entering legal practice and/or in preparation for future postgraduate study
  3. Improve your confidence working in the law through extensive interactions with academic staff
  4. Add value to your CV and improve your career opportunities
  5. Experiences gained in previous scholarships have included:
    • practice in analysis and literature reviews
    • participation in cutting-edge research
