Targeted Admission Scheme (Pacific)

The Auckland Law School offers entry into Part II under the Targeted Admission Scheme (Pacific) to 32 eligible Pacific Law students.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for consideration under the Targeted Admission Scheme (Pacific), you need to comply with all of the administrative requirements and your application must be approved by the faculty.

To meet the administrative requirements you must:

  • complete the Student Services Online (SSO) application for admission into Part II enrolment process.
  • log into SSO (Student Services Online)
  • be available to attend an interview if requested by the faculty.

Application process

Students who are deemed eligible for consideration under the Targeted Admission Scheme go into a pool of "eligible Pacific students".

These students are ranked according to their academic performance in Part I (calculated on the basis of their Grade Point Average). The 37 Targeted Admission Scheme (Pacific) places are then awarded to the highest ranking students.

Information session

The Pacific academic and support adviser will be run information sessions about applying under the Pacific TAS, in Semester Two.
