Research support

Auckland Law School is an active and vibrant research institution. Its members regularly publish books and articles in New Zealand and around the world, and also serve as editors of a range of publications. Events supporting and promoting research include regular workshops to discuss Faculty members’ work in progress, with drafts circulated for advance reading; and a steady stream of visitors who give seminars or public lectures. There are a number of research centres, and the Faculty maintains a close cooperation with the Legal Research Foundation.

Auckland Law School welcomes visits from academics and other legal professionals, as well as enquiries from prospective research students. Our work is supported by the Davis Law Library’s extensive collection of mainly New Zealand and Commonwealth legal materials.

Recent publications may be viewed as part of individual staff profiles. Information on recent or upcoming lectures, symposia or conferences, as well as books published, can be found in the News and Events section.
