Rangatiratanga - Personal Leadership
A two-day workshop to develop an understanding of how leadership plays a part in your daily life and impacts others.
About the workshop
Rangatiratanga is a Māori word which we understand as having self-determination over your choices and actions, like being the chief of your own life. In a leadership context this means having an understanding of your values, how those values interact with others
and how you contribute to the bigger picture.
The workshop is interactive and an excellent opportunity to step outside of your daily routine to reflect on your understanding of leadership.
The workshop is offered two to three times a year and is limited to 30 or 40 students who stay overnight together. Full catering and transport from the City Campus is provided.
The workshop is open to all current University of Auckland undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Places in the workshop are allocated on a first in first served basis and cost $50 per person. The programme is subsided by Campus Life and facilititated by the Capability Group.
Date and time: Saturday 1 September, 8.00am - Sunday 2 September, 3.00pm.
Location: Camp Adair, Hunua.
