Now is the time to nominate yourself for University Council, or the AUSA executive, and to later vote for your preferred candidate.

It is election season here at University!

Now is your chance to have a seat at one of the most important tables at the Uni, by putting yourself forward for the role of Student Representative on the Council.  

If you are interested in getting involved with AUSA, the student executive elections are coming up as well. 

Nominations

The nomination period runs from Friday 23 August to Monday 9 September for University Council, and Tuesday 27 August to Monday 9 September for AUSA.

Meet the candidates

Following the nomination period, the University and AUSA will give students an opportunity to hear from the candidates.

AUSA candidates will speak in the Student Quad on Tuesday 17 September.

University Council nominees will present their 'elevator pitch' online from Monday 16 September, so check back here to see what they have to say.

Voting

All enrolled students at the University of Auckland are eligible to vote in the Student Representative for Council Elections!

Check back here for details of all eligible candidates from Monday 30 September. We will also provide you with a link to vote online.

Voting closes on Friday 4 October, with results announced on Monday 7 October.
