UHCS Patient update 8 June 2020

Kia ora,

As we move to level 1 on Tuesday 9 June, there will be a few changes in how we operate.

We will continue to provide a mixture of both virtual and face-to-face consults and counselling sessions. Although we will be able to see more patients face-to-face, we will still be limiting the number of these appointments.

If you require an appointment, we still encourage you to ring us on 0800 698 427 instead of coming ino the practice. From there our team will determine what type of appointment would work for you. Please note you may not been seen on the day.

If you have any flu like symptoms such as a sore throat, cough, fever or runny nose, please do not come to UHCS. Instead, give us a call and we will arrange a virtual appointment for you.

If you are coming in for an appointment, please note you will be screened for Covid-19 and will be given a mask to wear.

Prescriptions will continue to be administered. Patients who need a repeat prescription will be assessed via a phone consultation, or if deemed appropriate issued a repeat without a
consultation. Prescriptions will be sent directly to your preferred pharmacy for collection.

If you have any questions about the University Health & Counselling Service operation, please contact the University Health and Counselling Service.
