Supports students so that they can access undergraduate study and the transformative potential of a tertiary qualification. Funded by donations from the University of Auckland alumni and friends community. Value: Up to $5,000.

University of Auckland Academic Potential Scholarships

Supports students who have achieved academically, but are experiencing hardships that potentially limit their opportunities or who may have been disadvantaged due to their personal circumstances. Value: $6,000 to $20,000 over three years.

Sir Robert Jones Refugee Daughters’ Scholarships

Available for selected daughters of refugee families to enable them to undertake full-time University or tertiary study.
All tuition fees and books costs will be paid and, subject to satisfactory examination results, will continue to be paid through to degree attainment. The scholarships are available to young women from refugee backgrounds whose families are struggling financially and who qualify for admission to tertiary education.
Additional assistance may be available for clothing and, where needed, hostel accommodation.Applications for the Sir Robert Jones Scholarship close 15 August 2016.
