Jean Heywood Scholarship

Established in 2006 by Jean Heywood, née Miller, a past pupil of Epsom Girls' Grammar School, who graduated with an MA in Mathematics from the University of New Zealand 1942. The purpose is to encourage and assist students from Epsom Girls' Grammar School to study Mathematics or Statistics.

Postgraduate

Craig Memorial Scholarship

Established in 2003 and is financed by a donation to the University of Auckland from the family of HH and NP Craig. The purpose is to encourage Māori students to pursue graduate studies in Environmental Science or Mathematics.

Jean Heywood Postgraduate Scholarships

Established in 2007 by Jean Heywood, née Miller, who graduated with an MA in Mathematics from the University of New Zealand in 1942. The purpose is to encourage and assist students undertaking a masters degree in Mathematics or Statistics at the University of Auckland.

Judy Paterson Mathematics Education Scholarship

Established in 2014 in recognition of the contribution made by Dr Judy Paterson to Mathematics Education, and especially her work with secondary school mathematics teachers in the Auckland region. The main purpose is to support graduate-level professional development for a teacher from a decile 1 or 2 school in the wider Auckland region. Fees available for up to 30 points in postgraduate study.
