Datacomp Together 2022

Looking for an opportunity to innovate, build networks and kick-start your future career in tech? Apply to represent the University of Auckland at Datacomp.

Datacomp is a competition hosted by Datacom, Australasia’s largest homegrown tech company. It brings people together for a weekend to create innovative solutions for organisations’ problems or opportunities. Using a hackathon approach, teams collaborate to ideate, validate, code and pitch their solutions to a judging panel. Learn more about Datacomp.

This year, the University of Auckland has put forward a challenge for Datacomp, focused on the future of the PhD. Other challenges from Datacom customers include topics around liveable cities, healthcare, the future of work and more.

Up to 10 doctoral candidates will be nominated to represent the University, join the TalentX programme and take part in Datacomp alongside Datacom staff from across New Zealand and Australia. For doctoral candidates who are interested in a tech career, Datacomp provides a unique opportunity to network, learn new skills, be mentored by experts, and have a lot of fun. Coding skills are not essential.
