Doctoral Morning Tea

The Doctoral Morning Tea (DMT) is an opportunity for doctoral candidates from across the University to connect with one another, develop their networks and develop new insights into key doctoral topics.

Sessions may be held in-person or online, and may feature a panel of current students discussing their experiences or an external speaker sharing their knowledge. Past topics include:

  • Making the most of your doctorate
  • Cross-cultural communication
  • International candidate life
  • Research storytelling for quick pitches
  • Proactive career management

PGSA Lunch and Learn

Connect across the research community

If you like the idea of networking across the University's graduate research community, you may be interested in the PGSA Lunch and Learn. In these student-led sessions, you'll hear doctoral candidates from different faculties present their work and have an opportunity to connect with like-minded people over refreshments.
