Check out this informative series of videos looking at creating a culture of consent and support here at the University.
Recognising and respecting other people's boundaries is a great way to ensure your behaviour isn't making anyone feel uncomfortable or pressured.
Being an upstander
It takes guts to step in and help people out in situations where they might feel uncomfortable or out of control, but doing so helps to keep our University community safe and well.
It is important that you understand your partner's verbal and physical cues during a sexual encounter, so that you aren't making anyone feel uncomfortable or pressured in any way. And remember, consent is an enthusiastic YES!
Where to get support
There are many different support services available to students, both at University and out in the wider community.
