Information on access to Libraries and Learning Services during different alert levels.

Alert Level 1

Libraries and Learning Services operates as normal at Alert Level 1.

Alert Level 2

  • All libraries and information commons open for reduced hours.
  • Click-and-collect service for borrowing books.
  • Courier service available for books if a student can’t come to campus
  • Chapters and articles can be
    scanned and emailed to students. Watch video on requesting chapters and articles (YouTube)
  • Access to short loan through digitisation.
  • No overdue fines.
  • Access to the Special Collections Reading Room resumes.
  • Online access to eBooks, journals, databases, TV, movies, radio and digitised archives through library website.
  • No access to physical collections such as books or non-digitised archives
  • Online study skills development. See Learning Essentials.
  • Support services for academic skills development, students with invisible learning disabilities, Māori and Pacific learners, and English language development move to Zoom. See Undergraduate resources and workshops.
  • Career Development and Employment Services move to Zoom

Alert Level 3

  • Limited study spaces open in Kate Edger Information Commons and Te Papa Ako o Tai Tonga in Manukau.
  • Click-and-collect service for borrowing books.
  • Courier service available for books if a student can’t come to campus.
  • Chapters and articles can be scanned and emailed to students. Watch video on requesting chapters and articles (YouTube).

  • No overdue fines.
