“I chose to study at the University of Auckland because it has one of the best law schools worldwide, and its LLM programme features international guest lecturers who offer an abundance of expertise.

“There are a lot of new, innovative courses on offer such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), and I really enjoy the fact the courses are not New Zealand-centric. Instead, the general orientation is international with a strong focus on the UK and the USA as the determinative players in setting common law. In the future I want to work in the Automotive Sector and hopefully, courses such as AI will help me to achieve this dream.”

The hardest part about studying at the University of Auckland was being in Germany waiting for the adventure to start!

“Attracting people from all over the world, Auckland is a multicultural hub, and the city itself is amazing because of its contrasts – civilisation interrupted by lots of green areas; skyscrapers in the centre and wide-spread suburbs containing small buildings. I also enjoyed several road trips all over New Zealand, from Cape Reinga to Bluff, and scould not get enough of this place; the climate, nature, the people, cities and towns – it is all simply stunning.”
