Graduate Diploma in Commerce

The GradDipCom offers graduates in business the opportunity to supplement their first degree qualification.

It can be used to:

  • extend a major field of study
  • study a discipline other than the undergraduate major field of study within business
  • study towards attaining professional recognition, eg, membership of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Who can apply?

You must have completed the requirements for the BCom or approved equivalent, or approved professional qualification in commerce. MIT students may apply for selection if they have completed an approved MIT degree.

Completing the GradDipCom

The GradDipCom consists of 120 points:

  • 45 points from Stage II courses
  • 75 points from Stage III courses
1 year (2 semesters) 2 years (4 semesters) City Campus

More information

You can’t cross-credit a course from another degree or diploma to the GradDipCom.
