A $5,000 Scholarship for a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident currently enrolled in Part II or III of a BE(Hons) in Civil Engineering for use in their Part III or IV studies in the following year.

The Hiway Stabilizers Scholarship in Pavement Engineering was established in 2003 to assist third and fourth year undergraduate students interested in pavement engineering and enrolled in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Hiway Stabilizers Limited has operated in New Zealand since 1982 and is one of the country’s most significant and capable road stabilisation companies. Hiway Stabilizers are recognised as stabilisation experts in the areas of road construction, road maintenance, pavement rehabilitation and soil modification as well as ground improvement techniques.
