The Kate Edger Educational Charitable Trust First Year Doctoral Award

The Award was established in 2015 and is funded by The Kate Edger Educational Charitable Trust.

The main purpose of the Award is to assist women graduates currently enrolled in their first year of full-time study at the University of Auckland towards a PhD or named Doctorate. The Award is intended for students studying full-time towards a qualification; however, the Trustees recognise that health conditions or impairments can limit a person’s ability to study full-time and have extended the Award in 2023 to include part-time study on a case-by-case basis.

Scholarship applications will usually open around six weeks before the closing date. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible before you apply.
