Learning on the margins: External threats on schools and its impact on learning outcomes in the Palestinian Territories

This research is exploring if a relationship exists between external threats facing learners and teachers in Palestinian schools due to the ongoing occupation, and student well-being and learning outcomes.
The summer scholar will assist with quantitative data analysis of a survey administered to approximately 4000 students and 500 teachers across the Palestinian territories. It is necessary for students to have expertise in using statistical software to run a range of tests for associations between key variables. Students will work closely with the supervisor and colleagues from the Norwegian Refugee Council (in Palestine). Arabic speakers are strongly encouraged to apply.
