Jennifer Devlin
Congratulations to University of Auckland’s Jennifer Devlin, one of four New Zealand winners of the Frank Knox Memorial Fellowship to study a Master of Laws at Harvard University.
Scholarships Manager for Universities New Zealand, Jon Winnall, says “Graduate entry to Harvard is this year more competitive than ever, so to secure a place and receive a Knox Fellowship is a significant achievement.”
Knox Fellowship awardees are selected on the basis of such characteristics as leadership, strength of character, and a keen mind. The Fellowship covers full tuition and health insurance plus provides a US$24,000 stipend for one year of study at Harvard University."
I feel amazingly lucky to have been awarded both a Fulbright* and the Frank Knox Memorial Fellowship," says Jennifer. "It means I can attend one of the world's great law schools without having to worry about money. I'm so excited about spending a year at Harvard."
