Test drive your career with an internship

An internship is the perfect way to explore whether a career path is right for you, gain experience in the world of work and give your CV an edge in the job market. The 2020 CDES Internship Career Expo is where you want to kick off your internship journey: you will get the opportunity to interact face-to-face with employers and learn exactly what they are looking for. Internships come in all shapes and sizes, so no matter what fields of work interest you, this expo truly has something for everyone.

Start early

An internship is like a bridge that helps to take your learnings from the classroom and apply them to a role where they have impact and meaning. Wherever you are in your studies, this expo is the perfect chance to explore opportunities and secure an internship that could take you to the next step.

With an internship, the world is your oyster

Internships are available all over the world, and an overseas placement could be a fantastic way to see the world and get valuable workplace experience at the same time. Scholarships are often available to help cover the cost of interning abroad, so don’t miss the chance to connect with providers in other countries and learn what might be available to you.

The support from the UOA team was great and the level of student interest exceeded my expectations.

Employers

Successful internships often lead to roles in the future, so the employers and recruiters at the expo will be eager to meet you and hear about your goals.
