The CDES STEM career expo is back – we’ve just moved it online!

The 2020 CDES STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Career Expo is back for its third year! Spread over four days, this online expo will give you the chance to meet employers from cutting-edge companies, broaden your understanding about the world of STEM and scope out future career options. The world (of STEM) is your oyster!

Your future in STEM

The STEM industry is right at the forefront of creating the future of life in New Zealand. With the world of work constantly evolving, new jobs are emerging constantly, and innovation is a key player influencing the way that we work. Regardless of what year you are in or what you are studying, you could have a front row seat in helping to shape that future with a role in STEM. Come to the expo and let the opportunities unfold.

STEM needs you

Employers can’t wait to meet you: after all, you are the future of their workforce! The CDES STEM Expo will give you the opportunity to chat to employers across the industry over the course of four days.

This is your chance to translate your classroom knowledge into real-world practice. You might discover a job you didn’t even know existed! STEM has room for people of a wide variety of skill sets and degrees, so do your research on the organisations attending, and come with an open mind!

Employers

Top employers from the STEM fields will be represented at the online expo. Research them below and check back for updates, as more will continue to be added over the coming weeks.

Please register for each session using the links below. And don't worry if you can't make it - we will have recordings of each session available for all registered participants after the event.

*Please note any session with an asterisk* is a session that is being held twice within the hour; the first and second session will be identical in terms of content, so please feel free to only attend one of the sessions.
