Make the most out of your summer break

Summer is the perfect time to gain workplace experience and add depth to your CV. The CDES Summer Work Pop-up is bringing you employers from a wide range of sectors, giving you the opportunity to network and potentially lock in a job to help save cash and boost your CV over the summer holidays. Summer work can be paid or voluntary, and the opportunity to gain real-life work experience is invaluable!

Let the summer holidays work for you

  • Meet and speak face-to-face with potential future employers.
  • Secure a great summer role to help you save cash and gain valuable work experience.
  • Build your network: you never know who you might meet!
  • Learn what employers are looking for in an employee, and tuck away the insights you learn as your hunt for future job roles.

Employers are coming on campus just to meet you, so dress to impress, put your best foot forward, and get ready to find your best summer job yet.

Time spent with potential employers is limited, so maximise this opportunity! Brush up on your networking skills or book a workshop and let us help you develop your confidence, skills and refresh your CV before you attend the event.

Research the organisations who will be attending below and check back for updates, as more will continue to be added over the coming months. Have your questions ready in October!
