What is it like working for Frequency and was it what you expected or was it different?
I was involved in multiple projects from the get-go: visiting sites at varying degrees of completion, meeting with clients, and assessing all kinds of contractor claims. While I expected to work in just one sector, Frequency provides a wide range of services and I was lucky enough to work in several. There was plenty of opportunity to learn and I quickly gained the experience to work productively and contribute to projects.

What advice would you give to students wanting to take part in an internship/graduate programme?
A piece of advice I would give to someone undertaking an internship/graduate programme at Frequency would be to ask questions. It’s always a struggle when you are confused or uncertain of something. The more questions you ask the quicker you learn the ropes.

Secondly, find a way to help you time manage. Whether it is using a diary, calendar, or a phone reminder, if you can nail this one early on, you’ll be giving yourself a head start.

Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years’ time?
Taking on more responsibility and expanding my knowledge areas to provide the best services that I can to whichever projects I am assigned.
