What you can study in Russian
You can study Russian language from beginners level. At more advanced levels there are opportunities to develop your language skills through study abroad in Russia.
Structuring your study in Russian
You can take elective courses in Russian or complete a Module in Russian as part of your Bachelor of Arts. You can also complete a Certificate in Languages or Diploma in Languages in Russian.
Students interested in Russian are encouraged to take a major in European Studies.
Taking a Module in Russian
If you would like to study Russian alongside your two BA majors, you can complete a Module.
A Module is an optional grouping of three courses on a particular theme which enables you to add extra value to your Bachelor of Arts.

First time enrolment in language courses
If enrolling in a beginner language course, you will need to complete a Language Proficiency Declaration to ensure you are enrolling in the right course for your level. This will be provided to you through Student Services Online after you have enrolled.
