New Zealand’s first masters programme that prepares students for a career in Medical Engineering.

Programme overview

Medical technology is getting more complex, and the field needs upskilled engineering graduates to help maintain and create it. Get a head start in this exciting field with the Master of Medical Engineering, designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge and expertise to be effective employees in an essential field.

The MMedicalEng is aimed at both recent Bachelor of Engineering graduates and engineers and scientists already employed in the engineering, applied sciences or health sciences sectors who want to upskill to address the complexity of the technology, as well as graduates working in other areas of Science and Engineering who wish to retrain.

You can also explore the Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Engineering and the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Engineering if you're unable to commit to a full masters programme.
