Skillsoft is the University's free online learning service open to University of Auckland and UniServices staff. Online learning is available free of charge 24/7, to help you upskill, meet your career objectives and fulfil your development plans from wherever you are.
How to access online learning
University of Auckland staff can access online learning courses through Career Tools.
UniServices and all other staff who do not have access to Career Tools can continue to access online learning courses through Skillport.
Skillsoft online learning provides upskilling in a wide range of topics including Capability Development e.g. Project Management, Time Management and Cross-Cultural Communication and Desktop, Productivity and Collaboration tools e.g. Office 365, Web, Adobe and Microsoft Office and much more.

Skillsoft online learning room
Twice weekly we open Room 305 on Level 3, 49 Symonds Street (Building 620) for up to 12 people to come and do their online learning. This is for anyone who needs a quiet space.
As spaces are limited and computers and headsets are provided, registration is required.
To register for a Skillsoft online learning room session, please search for Skillsoft online learning room in Career Tools and select your preferred session. If you do not have access to Career Tools, please contact email@example.com to assist you.
