Paying fees

All fees must be paid in full by the first day of each semester. For more information, go to Paying your fees.


You will enrol in five courses – two in Summer School and three in Semester One.


Attendance is compulsory. You are expected to be punctual for all lectures, laboratory sessions and tutorials. If you intend to be absent, you must advise the certificate support person via email or phone on the day of intended absence. Absences of more than 3  days will require a medical certificate. Unexplained absences will result a written request to explain non-attendance.

Sitting tests and examinations

Your must comply with the test and examination conditions. Workshops during your programme will help you to success in tests and exams.

Cheating and plagiarism

You must comply with the University’s rules regarding cheating and plagiarism. Copying all or part of another student's assignment, or allowing someone else to do all or part of an assignment, is considered cheating and will be dealt with accordingly.


You must not use electronic equipment such as mobile phones, iPods and MP3 players during lectures, labs and tutorials. Mobile phones must be switched off.

You are expected to behave responsibly and be considerate of staff members and fellow students. Any student, who acts irresponsibly or behaves in a manner that endangers their own safety or the safety of others, will be subject to disciplinary action.

Withdrawal from programme

Withdrawals must be made by the second Friday of the semester. Refunds will not be made after this date. See Changing your enrolment.

Academic requirement

You must pass Summer School with a GPA of at least 4.0 (a B- average) to continue on the programme in Semester 1.
