Group fitness classes

Your guide to group fitness at the Recreation Centre.

As of Tuesday June 9, New Zealand is in Alert Level 1 meaning our previous restrictions have now been lifted.

For the week of June 9 to 14 our current booking system will remain in place then from Monday 15 June you will no longer need to book in for our classes.
While the booking function has been a great addition, the app wasnt quite capable to service our needs fully. We will use this time to research alternative options and look to reintroduce a booking system for certain classes in the future.

We are excited to be able to open our classes up fully and return all equipment back to the studios.

While Alert Level 1 looks more relaxed, we will still be taking health and safety seriously with the below continued practices;

  • Our team will maintain the consistent cleaning of the facility and gear
  • Please continue to clean your equipment after use
  • The 'no towel, no workout' rule is also here to stay
  • Please wash your hands and stay home if you feel unwell
