Music specialisations
Music is the soundtrack to our lives. It inspires, moves and unites us. Expand your technique and understanding within your choice of Music Studies, Classical, Jazz, Composition or Popular Music. You'll be taught by some of the leading music scholars in the country, ensuring you graduate with the skills you need to kickstart your journey in the creative industries.
You can also study the Bachelor of Music alongside another discipline as part of a conjoint degree, which means you can take two undergraduate programmes at the same time. You can do a conjoint with Arts, Commerce, Engineering (Honours), Law or Science.
Music studios, performance and practice spaces
Music students have access to up to 50 composition and recording studios, practice rooms and performance theatre facilities. You will also have access to research resources and instruments such as harp, double bass, baroque instruments, percussion and timpani. Specialist technicians, who are also practising musicians, will help you develop the skills required to work independently with these technical facilities.
