We welcome referrals from all health professionals including GPs, nursing staff, allied health, University of Auckland Clinics and community organisations.
We accept self-referrals though do encourage clients to provide us with any relevant health information prior to their appointment to help our student dietitians prepare.
Health professional referrals can be generated from your practice management system or written in a referral letter. Please include key relevant information on why your client is being referred and any relevant medical history, recent results and best way to contact them.
Current clinic sessions (February -September)
Tuesdays: 8.30am—12.30pm
Wednesdays: 8.30am—12.30pm
Please note that the frequency of clinic sessions may change during the year dependent on student learning needs. Additional clinics may be arranged on an ad-hoc basis should the need arise.
We offer both in-person and telehealth appointments. The customer service team will discuss what works best for you during the booking of appointments.
Our clinics are closed between October and January (inclusive) annually whilst our students are on placement within Te Whatu Ora localities. If you would like to refer a patient to our clinic during this time, please ensure that you let them know that there will be a delay in us arranging an appointment to see them. Our customer service team will contact the client to discuss the referral and add them to our waitlist for clinics in the New Year.
