Preparing your 3MT presentation

Crafting your Research Elevator Pitch workshop (online)

Join us to learn how to craft a "research elevator pitch" – a short summary about your research that you could use in any setting – from an academic conference to a casual conversation with a friend, or even the 3MT competition.

3MT feedback session (in person)

This feedback session  is a fantastic opportunity to practise your 3MT pitch in front of a small, supportive audience. Our experienced panel will offer constructive feedback on content and presentation style that will help you refine your pitch and build your confidence while presenting.

Finalists' Preparation Workshop (by invitation only)

This session for Faculty and Open Heat winners on Tuesday 2 July 2024 is run by professional speech and performance trainers, who will help you take your presentation to the next level, in preparation for the University of Auckland 3MT Finals on Friday 2 August 2024.
