Account activity and summary

The summary of your University account and the status of your fees payment or refund.

You can quickly check whether you owe any enrolment fees or if you have a refund through Student Services Online.

When do fees show on Student Services Online?

The calculation of your fees by Student Services Online takes place overnight and therefore may not show immediately on your student account. If you have just completed your enrolment, you may need to wait up to 24 hours in order for your fees to be updated.

If your course has been Waitlisted, then your enrolment is not yet considered as approved and no fees will be calculated at this stage.

What to do if your fees haven't calculated after 24 hours:

Receiving credit and debit notes

Credit note

A credit note is used to show when there is a reduction (either in part or in full) in the amount that you were originally charged for something. The credit note is also used to adjust the GST proportion of the original charge and is a requirement of issuing tax invoices.

For example, this will appear as -$200.00.

If you received a tax invoice for a particular course and then you drop that course, you will receive a credit note for the change in fees amount. You will also receive a credit note if there has been a reduction in the amount you were originally charged for a course.

Please note, if you make any adjustment on your enrolment, this may also trigger a credit note being sent to you.

If you receive a credit note and you had previously forwarded your tax invoice to someone else, the credit note should also be forwarded to them.

Debit note

A debit note is used to show that you are now being charged an increased amount for something (either in part or in full). The debit note is used to adjust the GST proportion of the original charge and is a requirement of issuing tax invoices.

If you have been sent a tax invoice for a particular course and the fee for that course increases, you will receive a debit note for the change in fees amount. You may also receive a debit note if your enrolment has changed.

If you have requested your tax invoice be emailed directly to someone else they will also receive any debit notes. If you had previously forwarded your tax invoice to someone else, you should also forward the debit note to them.
