International Doctoral candidate induction

There is a lot to think about when embarking on your PhD journey, not only academically but also setting up your life in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

It is compulsory to attend the in-person Doctoral induction, held by the School of Graduate Studies (SGS), within the first two months of your enrolment start date. We recommend you attend as soon as possible.

At the end of each Doctoral induction, you are encouraged to stay for an additional information session tailored for international candidates.

You can find out more under Information for new doctoral candidates.
