Adult student support
We provide support services for you, whether you're entering the academic environment for the first time, or returning after a long absence.
Preparation programmes
We recognise that beginning or returning to study as an adult can be a difficult experience. There are programmes in place to help with academic writing skills, as well as other programmes for general study skills.
New Start provides part-time day and evening courses to prepare adult students for University study, and there are also a number of bridging programmes designed to prepare students for university study, particularly those who left school without a formal tertiary qualification.
General academic skills
Student Learning has a range of classes aimed at enhancing general academic skills to make your study easier.
