We hold an Orientation Welcome at the beginning of Semesters One and Two to welcome you to The University of Auckland.
Orientation gives you a chance to get to know the campus, make new friends, learn some academic preparation skills and have some fun!
Orientation Welcome for Semester Two 2013 will be held on Wednesday 17 July.
The International Orientation will be held on Tuesday 16 July.
As a new student at The University of Auckland, it can be challenging to meet new friends, learn about campus resources and services, or find out where classes are located!
The UniGuide Programme is a free service designed to help make your first semester easier by connecting you with a student mentor who can show you the ropes.
You can meet your UniGuide, head to your faculty welcome and then take a tour of campus with other new students!
During the Orientation Welcome, there are a number of faculty sessions to help ease you into university life.
From budgeting to time-saving tips, managing course readings and achieving your academic potential, the learning support sessions are designed to help set you up for success before classes begin!
A variety of sessions are offered throughout the week, so be sure to take advantage of the opportunities available.
At The University of Auckland, you’ll not only get a top academic experience, but you’ll have ample opportunities to meet new people and have an exciting social life too! Whether you’re interested in sport and recreation, cultural or social events, there’s something for everyone.
