You cannot take these courses for General Education if you have a concurrent or prior enrolment in a course in any of the following subjects: CHINESE, COOKIS, CROATIAN, FRENCH, GERMAN, INDO, ITALIAN, JAPANESE, KOREAN, MAORI, POLISH, RUSSIAN, SAMOAN, SPANISH or TONGAN. You may only take one course from this Schedule.

Language courses do not satisfy the General Education requirement for a student who has prior knowledge of the language (for example, as a native speaker, through formal and informal study, or through living with others who speak the language). Enrolment requires submission of a language competency form and a student with prior knowledge of the language may be declined enrolment or the enrolment may be deleted at the discretion of the Head of Department.
