You can now join our mailing list to get the most recent updates on the programme and be kept informed of upcoming events!
Get a global perspective
With a choice of more than 90 universities in 24 countries you can study and live in another country, make new friends, get international experience, see the sights, build professional networks, expand your potential and break out of your comfort zone!
Live in another culture
Find out what previous exchange students have to say about their overseas experience. You can also view photos and videos, receive updates and get in touch with exchange students through the University’s Facebook page, Twitter and You Tube.
Make new friends
Apply for exchange in three easy steps. We will guide you through the application process including preparation, checking your eligibility and selecting an exchange partner, and submitting your application.
See the sights
When you go on exchange you will be enrolled as a University of Auckland student and pay tuition fees here, not at the host university. Most students fund their travel and living costs through a combination of scholarships, StudyLink and personal savings.
Expand your potential
If your application is successful, there are a few things you’ll need to do before you leave. Arranging your accommodation, booking your flights, and getting your visa/permit sorted should be top of your checklist! We will also help you get prepared to make the most of your international experience at a pre-departure briefing.
