Visas
International students are required to obtain the appropriate study visa or permit in order to live and study in New Zealand. Further information and application forms may be obtained from New Zealand Immigration or by contacting the nearest New Zealand Embassy or High Commission in your region. To renew your student permit, you must enrol at The University of Auckland and pay your tuition fees. If you have not yet received an invoice from The University of Auckland for your tuition fees, check your tuition fee details on Student Services Online by logging in with your netID and password.
After you have paid your tuition fees you can either renew your student visa/permit on campus, or send your application to the NZ Immigration Service (NZIS) for processing. More details about renewing your student visa on campus or through NZIS.
