The Scholarship was established in 2010 and is funded by the Faculty of Arts.

The main purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and support students undertaking a research thesis or portfolio for an approved Masters degree in the Faculty of Arts.

Applications by form close with the Scholarships Office on 1 August and 1 December.

Decision makers
The Scholarships will be awarded by the University of Auckland Council upon the recommendation of a Selection Committee comprising the Associate Dean (Academic) (or nominee), the Associate Dean (Postgraduate) (or nominee), and one other member of academic staff of the Faculty of Arts, nominated by the Dean.


How and when do students learn of the decision?
Approximately six weeks after the closing date by letter.
