Māori students encouraged to apply for Hauora Scholarships

Associate Health Minister Tariana Turia is encouraging  Māori students to apply for Hauora Māori Scholarships to help them start or complete their studies in health related courses.

The Auckland University Students' Association (AUSA) is committed to contributing to a work and study environment that is free from any form of harassment, including sexual harassment and discrimination. They find any form of harassment totally unacceptable and recognise the adverse effect such behaviour has on people who work and study in or use the AUSA facilities.

Academic Support for Māori and Pacific Students - (Tā te Ākonga)

Te Fale Pouāwhina

This programme is coordinated by a team of energetic Māori and Pasifika University tutors who are committed to facilitating Māori and Pasifika student success.

They provide a friendly and professional service at Student Learning within an environment based on kaupapa Māori and Pasifika principles. Support is offered at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Tutors assist students with their studies by offering workshops, study groups, and individual tutoring.
