Universities New Zealand – Te Pōkai Tara Scholarships
Universities New Zealand – Te Pōkai Tara (formerly the New Zealand Vice Chancellors Committee) administers a range of scholarships on behalf of the universities in New Zealand. These include the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship for study at Oxford University and the Woolf Fisher Scholarship for study at either Oxford or Cambridge Universities.
The Scholarships Office is the drop-off point for the majority of Universities NZ scholarships but please check regulations. For information on all scholarships, visit the Universities NZ website.

Congratulations to University of Auckland’s Jennifer Devlin, one of four New Zealand winners of the Frank Knox Memorial Fellowship to study a Master of Laws at Harvard University for 2011-2012.
Scholarships Manager for Universities New Zealand, Jon Winnall, says “Graduate entry to Harvard is this year more competitive than ever, so to secure a place and receive a Knox Fellowship is a significant achievement.”
Knox Fellowship awardees are selected on the basis of such characteristics as leadership, strength of character, and a keen mind. The Fellowship covers full tuition and health insurance plus provides a US$24,000 stipend for one year of study at Harvard University.
"I feel amazingly lucky to have been awarded both a Fulbright* and the Frank Knox Memorial Fellowship," says Jennifer. "It means I can attend one of the world's great law schools without having to worry about money. I'm so excited about spending a year at Harvard."
