Whātua Whitawhita Scholarship 

This is a new annual scholarship available to Māori rangatahi of Ngāti Whātua descent aged 18–25, living between Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and Whangārei, and drawn to technology and innovation.

$2000 will be awarded to 2 recipients who will also receive:

  • A hosted experience at the Revved Summit – 6 August at the viaduct
  • Mentors from their chosen industry or interest

Society for Underwater Technology Scholarships

The Society for Underwater Technology awards a selection of scholarships every year, to recognise exceptional students and provide targeted financial support to see them complete their studies and start their career in the industry.

Applicants are welcome from all manner of backgrounds that have a connection with offshore (or ocean) technology, ranging from underwater technology, marine and ocean science, underwater robotics, renewable energy, offshore and subsea infrastructure, metocean and many more.

The Sir Hugh Kawharu Masters Scholarship for Innovation in Science

The Sir Hugh Kawharu Scholarship for Innovation in Science, administered by Royal Society Te Apārangi, is a $10,000 scholarship for study at masters level in the sciences. Zonta Club of South Auckland Awards 

Zonta Club of South Auckland offers three awards for women who live in the area boundedby Sylvia Park Road in the north, on the west side of the motorway and south to Redoubt Road, continuing roughly straight east to Kawakawa Bay. Then on each side of the motorway as far as a line roughly through Port Waikato east to Maramarua.

Young Woman's Leadership Award

An Award of up to $1,000 is offered to a young woman leader aged 16-20 years who has proven leadership ability in school and /or community settings. The award will assist in enhancing leadership skills through further study, attending a course or participating in an experience.

Young Woman's Study Award

An Award of up to $1,000 is offered to a young woman leader aged 16-25 years to assist in financing a female student’s first post-secondary school course, leading to a professional or vocational qualification. This award is primarily targeted at a student intending to complete a vocational or trade qualification, but applicants aiming for university study will also be considered.

Study Award

An Award of up to $5,000 to a woman aged 25-45 to assist in financing a student to undertake a course of study towards a professional or vocational qualification of any sort. The award is intended to primarily target a woman who is hoping to begin or to complete a course of study which she was unable to undertake immediately after leaving school.

New Zealand Seniors Aged Care Futures Grant

A Grant of $5,000 for a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident, aged 18 years or older, who is enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree or diploma in either Aged Care, Aged Care Nursing, Dementia Care, Disabilities Care, or any other courses leading to similar careers as an aged carer. Read more and apply.

New Zealand Refugee Health Scholarship Programme

The scholarship supports former refugees and their children in Aotearoa New Zealand to pursue health-related qualifications (Level 7 and above), helping to strengthen the refugee health workforce and improve health outcomes for refugee communities.

Eligible applicants may receive:

  • Up to NZD $5,000 towards course-related costs (including tuition, compulsory fees, and equipment), and
  • Up to NZD $20,000 as a living stipend for one academic year.

Te Waiu o Aotearoa Trust Scholarship 2027

Te Waiu o Aotearoa Trust is offering $5,000 scholarships to promote, develop and provide for the education and advancement of Māori in the general business, banking, and finance industries.
