Tertiary Foundation Certificate Programme
If you lack the grades to gain admission or want to return to study, our programme will enable you to apply for university.
Combine English and Mathematics with two subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Geography, History and Physics.
Follow these simple steps to make your application and find how we assess your application for selection. Don't forget you will need to attend University to sit diagnostic tests. Once you have applied online, and before your application will be considered, you must sit diagnostic tests in English and Mathematics at The University of Auckland, with a view to being offered a personal interview.

The University of Auckland's Tertiary Foundation Certificate will be presented by senior University staff, to all successful students, at a Graduation Ceremony held in late November or early December each year.
