Kupe Leadership Scholarship

A Scholarship of up to around $25,000 including accommodation plus a Leadership Development and mentoring programme, for full-time enrolment by New Zealand citizens and permanent residents in a postgraduate programme.

Value: Accommodation and/or a stipend up to a value of around $25,000, plus compulsory fees, plus a customised Leadership Development and mentoring programme (see Reg. 2)

The Scholarship was established in 2018 and is funded by a number of philanthropic donors after seed investment by the McCall MacBain Foundation.

The intention of the Scholarship is to encourage and support exceptional students with a view to developing the next generation of leaders in New Zealand. Each scholar will be matched with a mentor from the community, who is themselves a leader in their field, to advise, challenge and guide them as they complete their study. They will also participate in a bespoke Leadership Programme.
